Make your own dish washing detergent

I told you earlier about a natural dish washing detergent recipe that you could use also in the automatic dish washers. I tried it today in our dishwasher and it worked great. I think even better than my store bought earth friendly detergent. The recipe is here) if you want to try it.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is disappointed in how the store bought earth friendly detergent worked. It left water stains (or something) on our glasses. So I think I'll try this and see how it goes.

I have tried it only once now so I can't say for sure, but yesterday it worked fine. If it doesn't work for you for some reason, you can always use it as a regular dish washing soap or all-purpose-cleaner!

I have continued using this detergent in our dish washer and I think it works very well!

We use the detergent since about a week now and really like it. I think, it gets the dishes cleaner than several natural detergents that I previously bought in stores. I keep the detergent in the fridge which is great since it gets the same consistency as store bought liquid detergents. This makes it very easy to use!
