Green dishwasher detergent recipe

I just found this from Green Living Tips. You can use it for hand washing or automatic dish washers. Haven't tried it yet because I have still some Seventh Generation detergent left but I will when it is finished.

Dishwasher detergent

Ingredients:

2 cups liquid castile soap
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
3 drops tea tree oil
1/2 cup white vinegar

Let me know when you've tried it. We rarely use the dishwasher so we still have a lot left. So it'll be a while. :)

I will! I have still a lot left too so if someone tries it meanwhile, remember to give a report to the rest of us too!

We use the detergent since about a week now and really like it. I think, it gets the dishes cleaner than several natural detergents that I previously bought in stores. I keep the detergent in the fridge which is great since it gets the same consistency as store bought liquid detergents. This makes it very easy to use!
